This product offered will save you thousands and even perhaps hundreds of thousands of dollars throughout your lifetime, if you adhere to it. Believe me, if I knew then what I know now.., I'd be in a much healthier financial place, now let the savings begin!
This knowledge was acquired after having spent many months and hundreds of hours researching the banks, being on the interned, reading books, talking to finance companies and also spending countless hours communicating with the different credit bureaus. At first I made very little headway but later things started to work out.
Good credit is essential; unfortunately, bad credit happens to good people. I am living proof of that statement. How, you may ask? Well, let's travel back in time to when I was 19 years old. I had enrolled and dropped out of college all this within a three month period. I admit, I wasn't cut out for college. All I wanted to do was to make money, so I decided to start selling cars. Honestly the money wasn't that bad for a nineteen year old college dropout but I realized that I wanted more out of life and so I gambled and moved to Miami, Florida.
A good friend had approached me with the idea to open a small deli. I admit, l was reluctant to invest $35,000, But I was always a gambler, and so in order to gain everything, I decided to risk everything. Even though I didn't have the $35,000, 1 did Have OPM. Translation> "Other People's Money", also known as CREDIT CARDS. How could I not take advantage of these tempting resources? I had the plan, I had the money, and all I needed was to launch the plan onto action! The idea of the deli kept spiraling upwards and eventually the deli became a bar and restaurant. Naturally, with the new plans came the spending and the spending became untamable.
In order to Led this hungry giant I had to charge more on the credit cards. I began to worry about my finances, and because of this I lost all my focus on my current job and was fired. I took it in stride and invested myself full time into the business. After a while I was emotionally drained and financially devastated.
The nightmare then started to put its ugly coils around me. It began with collection calls, Polite at first then later rude and finally demanding. Down the road my car was repossessed my house was foreclosed. For my fruits of labor I ended up with four law suits and two closed bank accounts. Finally my claim to infamy, I was now three hundred and fifty thousand dollars in debt, I felt crushed under the weight of all this and with good reason. It was then that I was finally forced to seek legal advice; unfortunately, I learned that a little too late. Can you believe that I had no legal counsel throughout this endeavor? It turned out that bankruptcy was my only option. Believe me; I had every option of paying back my loans.
Ironically enough, with plenty of research, I learned that only ten percent of all new Restaurants are successful the first year; this unfortunately meant that mine was in the ninety percent bracket of the ones that fail the first year. Hindsight is 20/20 and looking back I should have done due diligence, that is to say I should have done my research and not believed what people told me. I had learned so much; unfortunately it was after the fact.
A lot had changed as a result of my bad luck. Relationships and friendships were sacrificed, and my image of the "real world", was tainted. I had no choice but to mature and accept my present situation. I realized that I had no choice in this matter I had to take my bitter medicine.
Every cloud has a silver lining. With time and many conversations with friends, I realized that a lot of people had serious issues with their credit, Suddenly I was labeled among some as the "Credit Guru". I was the inspiration to the credit sick, the credit needy and the credit handicapped, so to speak. After a while my number was being passed around to people I didn't even know and my answering sei vice was inundated with calls. This was perhaps what started me towards the idea Of "CREDILIFE".
One lesson that I learned was that it is very hard to re-establish you credit once you let it go bad because of a BK, repossession etc. The reason it's hard is because hardly anyone wants to extend you credit. To do so means that they will have to look at your past credit history and obviously your past credit is bad. This means you are caught in a "catch 22 situation". The situation is this; you need credit to get credit.
